There is a choice of car parking at Bristol Airport, with the ability to park for short and long stays, parking available for business and disabled customers, and also parking for motorcycles as well. There is also the option to pre-book.
The short stay car park has over 300 spaces, and is situated conveniently on the approach road to the airport, a small distance from the terminal. Unlike many short stay car parks, the car park is not within walking distance of Bristol airport, so you should leave time to catch the courtesy bus service which will drop you off at the main entrance. The cost of the short stay car park is free for 10 minutes, then £1.80 from 11 minutes to the first hour. Between 1 and 2 hours costs £3.70. After that the price rises to £12.00 from 12 to 24 hours. For each additional day or part thereof it costs £12.
The long stay car park at Bristol airport has well over 3000 spaces in it and is also situated on the approach road to the airport, with a free bus service to the terminal. The cost for up to one day is £12, making it more cost effective to park in short stay for stays of under 12 hours. After the first day and up to five days of parking it costs £7 per calender day or part thereof to park. Parking for 6 or 7 days costs a flat rate of £43, and for 15 days it is £79. So the longer you stay the less it costs per day.
There are over 100 disabled parking spaces in Bristol Airport, which are in both the long stay and short stay car parks, with prices the same as non-disabled parking spaces. There are 10 motorcyle spaces, which are available free.
Business travellers tend to want to park in the most convenient place, and Bristol Airport have accommodated these needs by providing a 150 space premium car park. If you travel from the airport frequently you can become a "Navigator" member and get preferential rates and have no need to pre-book. It costs £9 for the first day and then £10.50 for further days, with £12 per day for non-members.
Pre-booking is available for minimum stays of 2 days, subject to availability and is subject to a 3% fee. You can pay by cash at machines or by credit card when you exit the car parks.
