Airport Parking Directory - BOOK HERE
Luton Airport is about 40 miles north of London up the M1 motorway at Junction 10. It is well known now as the "home" of Easyjet, and is trying to become the country's third airport. There are three types of car parks, the Express car park, the mid term car park and the long term car park. With all car parks you book online, and this must be done over 28 hours before arrival or you can't book.
The Express car park is only a short walk away from the terminal and you can get access from the car park by walking on a partially covered walkway. Should you be looking for convenience and speed, then the express car park is for you. You can get to the car park by following the gold parking signs when you get to the airport. You can phone up to make your reservation or do it over the web. Then you can turn up to the car park and the enter the debit or credit card with which you made the booking into the barrier and you will be allowed access into and exit from the car park. The Express Car Park is for people who want to park for a day or so, but you must book for the car park within 28 hours of arriving there, or else you will not be able to park.
The Mid Term car park is situated opposite the Holiday Inn Express in Luton which is on the airport approach road. You can get to this by following the green car parking signs when you get to near the airport. You enter and exit using the credit card you booked with. Once you have parked, you can get to the terminal on the courtesy bus service, which will take you to the terminal. The Mid term car park is best suited for stays of up to 5 days, but you are welcome to stay for longer.
The pink car park signs will lead you to the Long Term car park which is situated on the site of the airport. When you get to the car park, you should take a ticket at the entry barrier and you will be greeted by a member of staff. You can then be registered at the reception where you will need to leave your keys. Your car will be parked by the staff, who will then make sure that the keys are securely stored. A courtesy service runs regularly to take you to the main entrance of the terminal. The Long term car park is best for stays of 5 or more days (you will be charged for a minimum 5 days).
