Cardiff Airport is the largest airport in Wales and serves Europe mostly with some additional transatlantic destinations as well.

The short stay and business car park are for those car owners who value convenience and speed and are either going on business trips or will only be at the airport for a short while. Once you arrive at this car park, you should get a ticket from the barrier and then the NCP staff will direct you to the first available space. The time when you make your payment is when you are in the arrival halls or within the car parks, and can pay at the "pay on foot" machines. Closed circuit TV is in operation throughout the day. Prices start at £1 for the first 30 minutes, then £2 up to an hour. For all times up between 4 hours and 24 hours it is £9, and for each further day it is also £9.

Long stay parking can be cheaper for you should you book on-line, which can save you 25%. When you get to the car park, you can take a ticket from the barrier and then park as directed by the NCP staff or in the first available space. Should you have pre-booked, you can present the booking reference and your ticket at the barriers when you get back from the trip you were on. If you haven't booked then just as with the short stay car parks you should pay at the "pay on foot" machines in the arrivals hall or in the car parks. When you travel you should keep your car park ticket with you. You can also get a courtesy shuttle bus which runs continuously between the long stay car park and the terminal as long as you are a pre-booked passenger. Should you pre-book the car park, it costs £4.95 per day for the first 6 days, then £3.95 for between 7 and 13 days. For 14 days or more, it is £3 a day. If you haven't booked the parking, the cost goes up to £5.50 a day for up to 6 days, then £5 a day for 7-13 days, then £4.50 a day for 14 days or more. As you can see you save £21 should you pre-book a stay in the long-term car park for 14 nights.

For disabled drivers, Cardiff Airport has a long-term commitment to their special needs passengers. They provide dedicated car parking spaces in both the short stay and long stay car parks. They have provided a dedicated ramp for access to the main terminal from the short stay/business car park. Also, courtesy shuttle buses run from the long stay car park to the terminal from May to October.
